During the low tides this month greenling along the rocky cliffs can make for some good eats. A small jig along kelp beds will also produce them all year long. A friend who moved up from California discovered it and just had to tell me how good this fishing was. I laughed at him and told him I had a boat and do it all the time. You might even be pleasantly surprised by mr ling too.
YOu can also run into the ocassional school of black sea bass. This type of fishing is really a blast with light gear. It is also a good way to get the kids involved in fishing because there is almost always action!
