hey. i have never fished off of peirs or docks for salmon. i was wondering where is a good place to fish? And what should i use?

Seacrest pier - Alki beach in west Seattle - 3.5 inch Pnt wilson darts (white with green stripe) - barbless trebles.

I had a hit on a 3 inch glow buzzbomb but everybody else was using darts.
