Had one big flock of Widgeons come into the dekes this morning and my son was able to get off a few shots and score his first duck. 
He got one and I dumped two. Pretty quiet morning.

Hog, that's as good as it gets!
I'll never forget my nephew's firt duck. I cut the crap out of my hmd whil brushing up the blind. I was able to keep pressure on the cuts (3 fingers) long enough to call in a flock, and Dave popped one. We got ti and then picked up the dekes and headed for the hospital so I could get stitched up. Those memories will last forever.
Good on you for passing the love of the outdoors to the next generation.
