It doesnt look good. The Stilly is definately dropping however. Dont think anythings gonna be in shape by this weekend. Maybe next? I was beginning to think things were shaping up good for the runs this year. Now its anyones guess.

That's crazy how up there it just keeps going. Down here around Puyallup, things are slowing down and they are letting people go back to their homes in Orting...

I have an Uncle and actually he's my God Father, up in Monroe who has a big dairy farm. When I was at his place last time, he was showing me how high the water got in 2006 and what he had to do with 600+ head of cows. I talked to my Dad tonight, he said that my Uncle lost one of his barns (loafing sheds) because of the heavy snow and I can only imagine how high the water got this time....

Fortunately the freezing level is on the drop. You can feel it outside tonight compared to last. Forecast is for evening tempuratures to be in the mid to low 30's for the next 7 to 10 days. That will start to help...

It would have been out west firefish, if it was you. The Snohomish was supposed to crest at 10 o'clock at the city of snohomish. Ebey is down at the mouth and will probably crest an hour or two later. I live about five minutes from the mouth and was thinking about checking it out in the morning.

Yep! Its confirmed! They are evacuating Ebey Island. Apparently the sherriffs are knocking on doors right now. Wouldnt that suck to woken out of a cozy sleep and told to leave. I guess a dike failed on Ebey slough and water is filling in inbetween there and the main channel of the Snohomish.

Well, what sucks is water is down and I SHOULD be able to get out. But have about 2 1/2' of thick silky silt/mud on my driveway. Even in 4WD my truck almost got stuck this morning trying to take my kids out to the busstop before I'd go to work. I barely was able to back it up my driveway, but was only pushing mud up into a pile in front of the truck. So I'm stuck here until I can get a tractor out to scoop the mud off the road. UGH.

Most of the rivers down this way are back in their banks, I doubt they'll fish for a few days yet. Maybe time for a little plunkin'

There's the "BOY" comments once again. I am 25, so I am stupid. I am sorry for that, I can't help it. This has been dropped by everybody except you SF.
