Well I was really targeting walleye, but the trout seemed to like a #7 Shar Rap in Firetiger.

It's the White river below Beaver lake, or some might say it is the White river arm of Table Rock lake. Cold water released from the base of the dam provides a year round trout fishery. In the spring walleye and white bass make a spawning run up the river. A little further down you can catch warm water species such as largemount and crappie.

Arkansas state record striper came out of the river there. 64 lbs. They aren't stocked in Table Rock so it was probably an escapee that got over/under the dam somehow. Then it got nice and big scarfing hatchery rainbows.

Boy, I miss the striper/hybrid action. Still trying to get used to all the tactics and rules out here. Kind of wish I was back in Texas but I won't give up.
