Snowed Saturday, Sunday it was warm (60's) and sunny so I went out to see if the white bass were running. No whites in the area, so I started slow rolling a 1/8 ounce white marabou road runner using my ultralite jig rod with 4 lb. fluoro. I was hoping to find some crappie, but ended up catching about a dozen spotted bass and one wayward striper. These fish were a hoot on the ultralight, I had a great time. And for you turkey hunters, I spotted a nice tom up on the bank strutting his stuff. Couldn't get close enough to get a good camera shot unfortunately.

Yeah it's still pretty chilly, lower fifties. I got these fish on the south facing banks where the sun was shining.
