Kind of ironic that I'm posting this on April Fool's Day, but it is not a joke!
On March 31'st, the AK Dept. of Fish and Game announced the 2009 SE AK King Salmon Abundance Index number (1.33) and the sportfishing regulations. Alaskan residents will be allowed 2 King Salmon a day over 28", and Non-residents anglers will be allowed 1 King per day over 28" and 3 per year. Of course in areas of a terminal fishery, such as near Grizz's house, the limits will be set accordingly.

this is the part i like
Alaskan Resident
* The resident bag and possession limit is two king salmon 28 inches or greater in length. * From October 2009 through March 2010; a resident sport angler may use two rods when fishing for king salmon.
and its hard to tell what the limit will be here the hatchery folks say it should be a good / big run on both kings & silvers this year
