reloading new

Does anyone have a resource for buying reloading supplies (powder) that they are willing to share? Or maybe you have some you want to sell. I love in Bend and I can't find anything anywhere. Thanks.

What type of powder for what caliber? If you are looking for pistol (9mm-.45 ACP) or .223 & .308 type powders, you are a year late if you want to buy bulk.

Wideners & MidwayUSA are my go-to places. Natchez shooters supply is another. All mail order. You need to be prepared to buy in bilk to realize some savings, as there is a $20 Hazmat fee. I usually buy 20-40 pounds at a time, which means the hazmat fee has less of an effect.

Reloading supplies have been scarce here in Puget Sound as well. But in the recent weeks they have been coming back onto the local shelves. I've never bought powder or primers via mail order because of the hazmat fee, but I've bought from Midway and Natches.

I'm hoping that the panic buying/hoarding is coming to an end.

You think folks are hoarding for their own personl use or do you think they think poweder will come under heavy tax and restrictions and are hoarding in order to sell it later on down the road. Probably a little of both.

Thanks guys. I'll check out those vendors. I did notice that Cabellas online has powder on back order. My buddy ordered some and it shpped in 6 days. Not bad at all. But a $20.00 hazmat fee is brutal!

CCI out of Lewiston was still on back order a few weeks ago for primers.

CCI in Lewiston has been shut down since December. They just started back full time on everything except 209 primers, which have been going gangbusters all along. I'm not sure the whole ammo thing is all on the up and up, since the prices have jumped drastically...
