Nieman-Marcus Cookies....
2 cups butter
4 cups flour
2 tspn. soda
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
5 cups blended oatmeal***
1 package semi sweet choc chips (plus a couple extra handfuls to blend with oatmeal)
1 tspn. salt
4 eggs
2 tspn. baking powder
2 tspn. vanilla
Blend oatmeal in a blender to a powder 2 1/2 cups at a time and add a handful of choc chips while doing to each batch...cream butter and both sugars, add eggs, vanilla and mix together with flour, oatmeal mixture, salt, baking powder and soda,,,add choc chips....roll into smallish sized balls or use a small cookie scoop, bake 9 minutes at 375, careful not to overbake!
