I dropped by there for a bit. It was very slow with almost no activity by boat or on shore. I was there about 6:30 pm or so and just stayed for a few minutes. All in all about 10 or so fishermen/women. I saw no fish that showed themselves and not much wildlife other than gulls. Nobody that I spoke too had seen any fish caught.
There were a few people having picnics however.

I havent been out locally. Just got back from towing my boat to Ucluelet and the fishing was excellant. Poss limits of Silvers and Chinooks. I even got one Humboldt Squid! Going back up there next week. Supposed to be some rain this week so it may heat up at the usual local spots.
I know one thng, there are more Silvers out there than I have ever seen, and I've been fishing for them for 50 years. We should have a great Silver run.
