Made this recipe a few times this summer for family and friends. If you don't have a smoker, but like REAL southern BBQ (not this nasty pasty sweet stuff that most of the huniyuks around here call BBQ) then you will love this recipe. The only change I made was to tone down the spice on the cole slaw... cause my wife and kids whined about the first batch...and she boxed my ears, which made me cry.
Ove pulled pork Sandwiches
and here is the cole slaw:

Holy crap! DownTownBoat! I have been trying to keep my sense of humor... Major health problems for my wife, busy workin' to pay for that, 2 kids, blah, blah, blah. Things are looking up a bit now (I have said that before, hopefully this time it will stick), so I might be around more. Not getting much fishing time, hopefully that will change too. Right now I am dealing with a completely destroyed left knee (I lost 70 lbs. to get in better shape for sports and for my health...and promptly ruined my one good knee) ACL, MCL, and meniscus, with an arthritis cocktail thrown in for good measure), I will hopefully be fully mobile in time for the steelhead season this year...not that I will have the vacation days left to do much, but hope springs eternal!

Man, do these sound good. Recipe printed and will try over Labor Day weekend, I hope. What did you tone down for the Slaw? I might have the same reaction with my wife and I don't need to give her more ammunition.

Red chile became red bell pepper, and the hot sauce became just a dash of tobasco.
