Just curious if anyone has heard of any pinks still being in 8-2 or if they have all moved up already?

Good to hear! Went down to Mukilteo beach yesterday morning to scope things out and saw plenty of boats on the water, and fish jumping right in front of us, but nothing bit. Oh well, there is always tomorrow!

Not yet, but we are headed out the next two days. I know they are at Mukilteo, 'cause I picked one up from shore yesterday morning and could see them jumping out there.
Total cluster $*! of boats though after the sun came up.
I am just glad that I am getting out fishing during a run rather than the proverbial times when I should have been out 'last weekend' or 'they will be here in two weeks' if you know what I mean.

Had a short day of it Sunday, but still managed to put 9 fish in the boat between the three of us. That is definitely more like it!

Was out again later in the day yesterday (Wed) and still lots of fish around, but not many biting. We only picked up 2. Cool to see schools of them headed up for the river though.
I am guessing with this rain they will start heading up for the rivers. Any thoughts on that? Any bets on how much longer the run will last in the sound?

I fished Friday in the lower Snohomish. I was by myself and launched at Everett rather than Langus Park. I thought Everett would be easier. When I went by Langus on the way back there was a waiting line to get boats out. Fished above above Lowell. Got my limit of 4 Pinks, released another 4 or 5. Anchored, I got there just before low slack and swarms of Pinks were running up the river. Fished a 1/4 oz pink steelhead jig with a pink mini squid over the hook. Kind of jig it like you were fishing for crappies.
They have to be be seen rolling, I moved three times to find rolling fish.
Kind of fun but I'm waiting to try the lower Sno for Silvers with plugs and spinners.
Since I have a prop boat, I watch close it since there are deadheads, stay in mid river.

The limit is 4? (laughing a bit as I watched several boats on Friday keeping more than 4/person. What do you do with them all anyway? Eggs I can understand, but the bucks? I kept only 3 decent looking hens of the 9 from the confluence hole and went home. They all were fairly bright, and had no hump at all. I was a bit ticked to find one of them was just a crossdresser. Nice eggs from the other two, and one went to the BBQ. It was ok, but I don't think I'd eat one again too eagerly.
Seriously, what do you guys do with them? I don't like the taste of smoked anything, so have never bothered to try using a smoker.

If I do keep them--I do smoke em. Have it for gatherings or coworkers dig it. I have never pickeled fish but that may work for pinks

Smoke 'em. I vacuum pack whole pink and chum fillets. I eat chinooks and silvers on the table. But pinks and chums, I smoke. I used to smoke salmon myself. But I found a place in Ballard that does a pretty good job and does it cheap. Jensens Old Fashioned.

I am smoking them myself. Seems like a good skill to have and I am really needing to develop my signature recipe. Goes along with my ability to cook a killer lasagna or chicken pot pie.
Damn, now I am really hungry...
