As a new Alaskan, and steel junkie on a 5 year jones, was wondering if any of you all had some advice for an Anchor River newb. Ill be taking the week of the 20-28th off in hopes of hooking up. I was planning on fishing float and jig and drifting the ol c&y, and some yarn flies Ive tied. Do the time and methods described sound like I should be hooking up with one of my long lost friends...

Any other methods or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Steve.... Ill also be hitting the upper Kenai for some of those sweet looking bows during that week. Let me know if yer gonna be down there around that time.

Just finished up a couple weeks at Jim Cr. Many a ho to be had there. Time for some new scenery
