Started warming up for steelies by hitting the Kenai for bows and dollies. Got this football just below the canyon. Fell for a little glo-bug.

Dont know yet. But there's only a few rivers that get decent runs. There should be a few in them right now and I will soon find out!

Let me tell ya... it was the fish of a lifetime. It took damn near 40 minutes to land and once in, it swallowed my needle nose while I tried to de-hook it.
Its all good FJ... and you know bigger fish are soon to follow. I just thought this one was cool as far as dollies go. I never gave pursuing them much thought down in WA, but up here they are actually worth the time and a nice alternative from the silvers.
I also felt the Alaska forum could use a little traffic... kinda quiet over hear.
