Looking for warm and dry hunting gear for my 10 year old son. He'll be with me this year (on grouse patrol) for deer season. We are hunting high up and it was down to around 10 degrees last year, so good gear that has simply been outgrown is ideal. He's 5'3" and about 110#. He's a kid's size 16 pants (or men's 28 waist, 30 inseam). Women's clothes might work as well.
Not wanting handouts, happy to pay for the stuff...just have a hard time getting him geared up with new things when he likely won't be able to wear most of it next year. He's a friggin weed.
Looking specifically for pants, sweaters/shirts, jackets, gloves. He's got boots. Quiet fabrics or Goretex type clothing would be ideal.
Making a run to Cabela's next weekend to fill in the gaps.
