Spent 4.5 days below Mac's Canyon and it was like shooting fish in a barrel. Partner and I landed at least 25 fish between us, and missed/lost a like amount.
Straight dry line at first/last light then to sink tips during the day. As usual, the fly colour of choice was Purple.

Dang, Fred. I am so bummed I missed it. I could have used a really great season on the D to really dial in those fish. Good news is that (this may not come across as good news but.... it is) we are moving back soon. I got laid off from my job her ein AZ and we are headed to Boise for a short time and then we will be moving back to Bend, hopefully. Congrats on what sounds like a stellar trip. Where are ths pics?

Sorry I missed your post Jake; this was one of the few trips where I/Mark Backman (flyfishusa) our Guide had camera's at the ready. Plenty on my lap top, but hadn't thought of putting them on line for all to see.
I'll have to take a look at how I get stuff up on Webshots. fae

Best story I heard, was a guy who delivered produce. When the customers complain about the freshness of the lettuce, all he says is, Should have bought it yesterday....
