It's right around the corner.
Going to take my son, brother, nephew, dad and an employee over to Dayton/Pomeroy and hopefully get my son onto one.

My Brother went scouting locally today and saw a PIG blacktail. He put it to bed and is now hoping he will still be around later

Was out on the Idaho (rifle) opener yesterday and my brother got a pretty nice buck. After a -1 degree start to today I got a nice 4x4 mulie about 10am. Will post picks when I get them loaded. LIL

My son and I had planned to hunt in southeast WA opening weekend but now he wants to go to the Homecoming dance Saturday night, so we will do a mourning hunt here in the basin. He is 14 and a freshman and is getting preoccupied with GIRLS. I can live with that since he and I still have a hunt planned in eastern Montana in Nov.

Headed over to the east side with my son (10 yrs old). His first time out and he'll be toting his 20ga for grouse. Spent the weekend (between football games and a little fishing on the Sky) updating weather-stripping and fixing a few things on the camper. Definitely looking forward to being out of cell phone service.
