I am the proud owner of a 2006 20 foot NR Scout. I could not be happier with the workmanship on my boat. I could not be less happy with the former dealer in Everett that did the rigging. I am posting this, not to bash the dealer (waste of time) but rather to tell you that in light of all the troubles that North River has experienced in recent months (you all know the details) they are doing the right things to rebuild their name and still in business. I recently called Chris and NR and explained the shoty (dangerous) installation of the tiller assembly by the former dealer. Without a seconds hesitation, he had all the parts in mail to correct the problem and never so much as asked for shipping charges. For that I am appreciative and felt it was worthy of praise. Way to keep your chin up NR and not ignore the customer even though things have been bleak. I hope that they return to building "one at a time" custom boats and never look back. I am a customer for life thanks to Chris.
