Shimano Citica Problems new
      #387745 - 10/20/09 05:29 PM

This could be more appropriately titled..."Shimano Citica Problem I created". The long and short of it is...I broke down my real to clean it of the sand and small debris that recently appeared in the gears, causing problems with the casting. It is clean as a whistle and back together the way I thought it came apart but now when I turn the drag up, It feels like the gear don't mesh properly. I went so far as to get an exploded view of the interior workings of the reel(online) and everything looks right but it still is not working properly....CAN ANYONE HELP ME..PLEASE?

BREWER You are the man!!!! a few days of frustration was quickly resolved by a phone call from Brewer. My mistake was figured out and I am back in business and ready for fishing tomorrow. It is obvious he knows his reels and I plan on sending my stuff to him in the future so i dont have a repeat of this problem.

Thanks again.....
