Yes, it does. But above Toutle, it is clear. Tried to fish that stretch today, got outboard problem, so had to stop at about 10am. Saw two fish caught on plugs for about 20 boats.

Chrome.

Here's what I got bk. Fish are still in the area. The Touttle is muddy but if you fish the clean (west side) of the Cowlitz you should do well. Boats traffic was heavy Thursday from what I heard but fishing was good. Keep pounding it until you get bit...

Fished the Cowlitz at the mouth of the Toutle, Sunday, 18 October, in what appeared to be a dental hygenist convention, given the number of flossers there. Had some local cracker try to convince me that he evidently had a deed to a square foot of river bottom 5' to my left as he proceeded to crowd me. Evidently the 100' to my right just wasn't good enough.

Only saw a few fish landed by bankies between 7 and 11 AM, but saw a lot of fish carried out. Seems most fish caught at night. Boaters with plugs just above mouth landed three that I saw.

We went to the Chehalis instead put in a Satsop. Not alot of fish according to a couple of boats we spoke with the week prior was hot supposedly.

A few jumpers no biters. I finally hooked up with a NAte Jack on diver n eggs/spinglow, released it.

Steve, we didnt go down that far. Concentrated our effort near the Satsop. It was raining real hard, remember the first day of the clam dig?
