.22 caliber in an AR style platform. Looks pretty cool, but a little pricey. Cheapest I found after a brief search was $479
Seems to me that you'd be better off dropping a 22 conversion in a standard AR (Assuming you have one) for a couple hundred.

That is an expensive plinker, must have been approved by Congress.
Other than just adding another B R to the collection, I don't see the need for this, unless a swarm of rabid gophers attacked.
<$300 can get you a decent synthetic Marlin 10/22 w/scope, or a model 60 would be more accurate(than the 10/22) for plinking.

That's kind of like a 22-45 pistol. The problem I found with the 45 conversions is fit if your pistol has tight tolerances. I think the rifles might have the same type of issues, but I don't know.
