Never fished for chums before and was wondering if they are running yet? I heard November but not sure...where are some decent places to pick them up at?

Hoodsport. And if you aren't fishing, the circus is still fun to watch.

At this time of year, Kennedy Creek and maybe Perry Creek/Mud Bay in a week or two. John's Creek is probably done for, but we saw quite a few jumpers out there on Sunday.

Satsop, Puyallup, Nisqually, Skookomish, Green(King Co), all the "S" rivers up north(sky, etc)Minter Creek just to start. Pick your circus.

Judging by your moniker you are at Ft Lewis. You dont have far to go. The Nisko from the tank crossing on down can be off the hook for chums anytime after Thanksgiving all the way through Christmas.

Enjoy the tired arms!

John's used to get a pretty good push of chums in mid Nov. I haven't fished it for a while, don't know if that is still the case.
