Seattle police officer Brenton was gunned down last Saturday. His service was today, and it sounds like SPD caught and shot the guy responsible.
Remember those who serve.

They caught the alleged perps right in my neighborhood...the cops were everywhere, and the news copters are still flying around right now...sounds like the only casualty from this afternoon's activities was the perp, who ran until cornered and pulled a piece on four cops, who shot the hell out of him.
Last I heard he was in critical condition and on a respirator at Harborview...good riddance, I say.

I think it was the local Tukwila cops who put the holes in him, backed up by the Federal Way cops...the SPD was all at the memorial service, and they showed up "en force" as soon as the shooting started...there were cops from Tukwila, Renton, Federal Way, Kent, Des Moines, Seattle, and the State Patrol all here at once getting it done...a great scene of solidarity for a fallen brother.

a photo from my Father In Law who served as a Police chief the turnout was overwhelming. This was one of the entrances to his service. Officers from all over the state attended.

I hope that this "person of interest" is the perp that is responsible for the murder. No punishment is too severe for the sh*t-bag that killed Tim Brenton. My prayers go to his wife and two kids.
