What color you shooting for? I have done some ultra fine glitter stuff that is very pretty. You could try some of the color additive used in worm coloring for a more generic use.

Places like Boater's world have kits of different colors used to match repairs on fiberglass boats...these would work with epoxy. Why color epoxy for rod work? It's supposed to be clear so you can see your thread through it.

Ok due to lack of ideas I decided to experiment. This is what I came up with.First epoxy your pole with the normal clear stuff. When it is dry color over your epoxy with fingernail polish. There is many to choose from I picked black. Then apply epoxy over the top of the dry fingernail polish and wala.Do not try to mix the polish in the epxoy it doent work.
Only time will tell if this work perfectly.

P.S. The reason why I want to color the epoxy is because I hate the way the thread looks even if it is wound neatly.
