I haven't seen any made yet using labels. I suspect it could be done with one of the label maker machines.
Greg did a real nice job using india ink. My penmanship is like my grammar skills...sloppy at best. If you have good hand writing, it is possible to do some nice detailing on the writing. Then just coat with rod finish to protect it.
I have some pens with that write in different colors that look real nice on blanks. These are metalic markers made by SANFORD., but you still need good penmanship.

I can print labels, or get you the labels stock for a laser printer, or you can pick it up at office depot, places like that, I would recommend a clear label, then clearcot over it, so it wont peel off. There are alot of different sizes and shapes.(avery is a good brand)it has a template for ms word publisher, so you can do em off your printer.

I use a calligraphy pen and white India ink with an extra fine tip. You can also dab the ink out of a metallic marker for use with the calligraphy pen. I have tried using some of the over the counter markers. Worked OK, I just prefer smaller, finer text Also experimented with the printer labels. I couldn’t get it to print in white or silver. I think if you worked out that detail you might be on to something.

The pens I use are silver and gold colored Pentel "gel" rollerball pens. They make them in about 20 or 30 colors if you want to match thread colors or get fancy. I clean the area I'm going to write on with lacquer thinner, and try to letter the information as neatly as possible. I let everything dry overnight, then cover the inscription with a coat of finish epoxy.
I haven't tried to make any decals or labels yet, if I decide to, I'll call a professional...Hey Wayne!
