O.K......I bought, on a whim from ebay a G. Loomis 7' Im6 2-4# and a 9'1082 Im6 6-10# (2nd).
I am "fired up" for the 7' 2-4# rod, as I have always wanted a nice trout rod. The 9' 1082 I am not as excited about, due to 3 GL3 1141's that I really love.
The 7'IM6, apparently, has a FUJI reel seat and front & rear cork installed & comes with the FUJI guides, but no tip-top. This rod is not wrapped.
The 9' 1082 apparently has the rear cork & that is it. I have a 9' 1082 IMX Loomis, so I have a guide for the guide placement.
I am still deciding if I want to "finish" these rods, or have someone complete them for me. I have some experience, though be it limited, in rod building, though if they are really nice blanks etc. when I receive them, I probably will choose to have them finished for me.
Does anyone in the Olympia area 50+- miles or so have someone that they would recommend to look at finishing them for me?.
I thank you guys (gals) in advance for any information.
SCOTT

Thanks Jeff.....I did just that last Saturday. He is a super guy and builds a sweet rod as well. His prices are also good.
