1143spin
      #419804 - 01/26/12 09:06 PM

I am getting ready to build an 1143 spin. Will probably go with the Fugi Alconite guides. Will I be happier if I avoid the handle kit (HK8) and buy individual components? I don't know much about reel seats or quality of cork, so it calls for a lot of decisions. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks, Denny

I like a 12 to 13" rear cork and 3" fore grip and reel seat a graphite 17 or 18mm or 20mm if you have very large hands. You could also do a split rear grip and for go the fore grip. Rainshadow has some great options for split grips.
