New Rainshadow new
      #396606 - 03/18/10 05:35 PM

I'm finally getting around to posting some picture's of my new Rainshadow.
Adan Hansen of Batson Enterprises, Rainshadow, built this terrific looking rod for me.
It's obviously an RX7 IST1143F, one foot guides and a composite reel seat. Very nice blue/green wrap's. Lot's of backbone with a feel that telegraph's the feel of a light bitting steelhead all the way up your arm.
Last night at Cabela's I picked up this Cardinal 304i because of it's weight, feel and balance. It held more 10/12 pound test than anyother in it's weight class.
I'm ready for any winter steelie, fall chinook, fall silver or early summer run that want to commit suicide.

Give Adam a call, he's waiting to build one for you.

Sweet! The black hoods on the carbon reel seat are a great touch.

I fished it again yesterday,(love it) no takers. Todd caught one sidedrifting. He wanted to use the 1143 but I wouldn't let him! We just got the one fish.

Getting ready to build a 1143 spin. Will I be happier if I avoid the handle kit and buy individual components. Any thoughts on reel seats? I am thinking Fugi Algonite guides. Denny
