Ned rig for bass new
      #425698 - 03/11/17 09:18 AM

Anyone throwing the Ned rig for bass out there in the Great Northwest? Been fishing them for a few years now, awesome little bait. Here's a bass I caught last week from the bank at Table Rock on a Ned.

They work real well for smallmouth, might be worth a shot over on Sammamish.

Jim if you're ever down in this part of the country, give me a holler, I have a bass boat now and there's always fishing opportunities down here.

Will do. I Bass fished a lot until I moved West. I'm working on moving to Montana which is at least a bit closer.

Just East of Stevensville which is South of Missoula. The weather varies by area. There isn't much snow in my area with only 14 inches of precipitation per year and a lot of sun.

This picture just shows the lower field between the house and road.

This is the view from the upper fence in the center. The house is under the red line.

Like many places in Montana, there are ample deer and elk.

Looks beautiful, are you going to do some deer/elk hunting? I assume there's some fishing in the area also.

I expect to do both deer and Elk this year. There is both Trout/river fishing and lake fishing in a few lakes such as Flathead Lake (the largest natural freshwater lake West of the Mississippi.

The first night we slept there ... the area Elk herd stopped by. There are over 100 in that group during Winter. I've count 140 on our property at once. I may have missed a few. There's been up to 50 or so Mule Deer on our property at one time. The most Whitetail I've seen in one group was only 4.
