Jeeeeps! new

Trucks are OK but if you want serious off road action, you need a jeep. [Big Grin]

Not a pretty little toy one, but a reel CJ-5. Ugly and meant for ugly places. This one my husband bought torn apart and in boxes. It was someone elses project that he and my son put back together.

It has a V-6 "Kenny Bell built" racing engine, and yes, it pops wheelies. Mike raced in some promo mud drags and took 3rd place, twice against guys who do this professionally. If he had paddle tires, he would have placed 1st. [Big Grin]

Our first Jeep was a CJ2-A. Not fast, but she could climb like no other. While everyone else took a running start, she would just slowly creep up the side, slower than you could walk. All the time never breaking traction. It was fun to see my husband back up a hill some guys couldn't take in forward gears. [Wink]

Hubby has fused discs in his neck now, so no more 4X4 for us. [Frown]

We sold this to my son's best buddy, Larry. Hey Larry, welcome!

Jeeps are great, but they like to break down alot. They sure are fun [Smile] ...The ultimate convertible.

AuntyM we took the baby for a drive today. Larry finally took Jeepie across the rock pile. Didn't get stuck or break anything. Just a little shakey when he was done. There was about 12 vehicles from the club out in Tahuya today and unfortunately 3 boo boos.
