Are there any good references on the Web?
Can you recommend a good book or field guide?
PLEASE, PLEASE bring some to F6.9! Let me know, I will bring the Steak!

The web is spotty at best but you can find a number of good books at any book store.

Here's a mushroom site that's interesting to explore: http://botit.botany.wisc.edu/toms_fungi/
Check out the "fungus of the month" page. The July 1997 featured fungus was the yellow chanterelle. Each month's pick has pictures and facts to go with it. Click on "Other mycological resources" to get additional sites with info on fungi/mushrooms.
