S&W Sigma? new
      #49485 - 02/18/03 02:33 PM

Thinking about buying one of these Glock copies. Looking at the .40 cal model SW40G. Midsized, 2 10rnd mags, tritium front sight and case. Can get them new for right around $350

I shot a 9mm Sigma some years ago, a friend had one and it shot well for him.

Really just want it for a beater packing gun that's lighter and more forgiving of abuse than my .45...

Anyone have any experience with one of these?

TR,the sigma seems like a good gun, I thought about one also.... 40 cal. S&W would be a good caliber.
I wonder if they come in .357 Sig? ...but that would be spendy to shoot much.

Dose your .45 Kimber kick that bad? my Glock 21's recoil isn't bad at all.

Kimber kick? new [Re: Rapid Robert]
      #49822 - 02/20/03 06:54 PM

No the Kimber doesn't kick hard at all. It's a full size 38oz. heavy pig. It just does that .45 thunk and back on target. I was practicing double taps the other day with some hot handloads and was doing pretty good keeping that second round right in there.

I've never shot a Glock 21, but have shot a Glock 20 10mm and that thing kicked hard with factory FMJ's...

In my first post when I was talking about abuse, I was meaning the gun can take the abuse of being a outdoor packing gun. Getting wet, neglected and still work...

TR, I got yah now.

I've shot both and the Glock 20 dose have a little more recoil.

Abuse......... you want a gun you can treat like a Glock.
