Uncle Bucks Fish Batters are the shiat!! Had deep fried halibut and chips with the stuff last night. Man o man was it good. We did the fish in the "light and crispy" and some popcorn in the "original". The original is actually pretty spicy so that was good on them little . I can't imagine what the "hot and spicy would be.
Anybody else have some deep fried goodies? jeff

I have never tried that stuff, or heard of it actually.
I use peppys batter, and a few other Cajun style fixins'
I will try it If I can find it, I am curious.
I like my deep fried stuff, don't do it very often, but when I do......mmmmmmmm

Heres a recipe that works really well for seafood and is just a little more healthy for you instead of deep frying. Next time your up for some fried seafood. take 1-2 cups of heavy cream(whipping cream) whisk in 3 eggs. season your fish or other seafood first, dip into egg wash, and here's the most important part gently roll in Panko bread crumbs( you can find these in most grocery stores especially oriental markets.) place fish in a frying pan with about 1/2cup to 1 cup of oil. cook to a golden brown and serve. This recipe has never let me down and has always satisfied many of my customers.
