Anyone know what this is?
      #53426 - 03/22/03 09:00 PM

This sample was found on the Skykomish River. It weighs about 4 pounds. Looks like compacted aluminum but very tough to break apart. Any ideas on what it is? Also has some gold material mixed in.

The owner said his father was fishing and he just happened to see it tumbling downriver. Bet that was one heck of a glitter.

Did you feel weak when you got near it FJ? Might be Krytonite.

Actually don't have a clue what it is. I suppose Marty has already pictured a big treble hook attached to it!

They look a lot like alien space turds.

Friends of mine used to pick them up down around Roswell, NM
until the black helicopters got too thick.

After that they moved to some area in Nevada called fifth tee won
where they claimed to be getting into some even better stuff.

They dropped out of sight shortly after that.
Don't know what happened to them.

My guess though is that it might be a form of pyrite.

Yeah looks like Pyrite to me too, but I sure would like to know for sure, I fish the Sky all the time and I never saw anything like that in the river.

Pirite is very heavy, like gold...so it would not be tumbling anywhere ...
