I know Ron was talking about bowhunting local with me this year for some blacktail...anyone else interested? I can't talk about the area...you have to come along.

are you plannin this during the late season FJ? or later in the early season? plannin on goin to curlew on opener.. but then again i was watchin the news the other day and the forest are on fire over there, hope this doen'nt screw it up over there!!!!

It's open for a total of 9 weeks. 4 weeks early and 5 weeks during late season.
If we get any rain early season I will hunt on those days. Unless a hot run of silvers gets in the way of that. 
It's a great pop in after work for the last hour and a half of daylight spot.

Hmm... I am having a hard time convincing the Dr. to let me hunt with firearm due to the shoulder surgery that isn't healing as quickly as planned. I wonder what he would think about shooting a bow

He would say...heck it's easy...if I had a bow last season I would have taken a nice 4x4 that was hanging out in my back yard. 
Pulling back 60-70 pounds shouldn't hurt.

hey FJ ya ready to go get those local blacktail yet??? i've been out sevel times. since i,ve been back from georgia seen only 4 doe's and they were only yearlings. just say when and where and i'll be there.

Thanksgiving until Dec. 31st .
I'll clue you in come early November. Workin and fishin left me with no time for the early hunt. I'll be at it hot and heavy come TG!
