Nice bag Desert Dog - I was Pheasant and quail hunting this weekend so I didn't chase Chukars. It was so much easier hunting on flatland instead of climbing hills all weekend, and those pheasants look like goodyear blimps comapred to Chukars.
So what kind of dog(s) do you use for your Chukar hunting? Me and my buddies use GSP's, I'm going to have to get a pup soon as my dog is 8 and feeling his years.

Used to use a GSP that was totally unbelivable but now am dogless. We Had a young Lab with us that day that shows promise of being a good hunter whes she matures. I prefer the GSP for the way the will drag you across a half mile of hill and go on point. Actually these birds were more flatland than hill. Early season and water equals easy hunting in the dry climate of Northern Nevada.
