Pulled in the driveway to a regular convention

and had to get just one step closer

meeting adjorned SEE YA.

Actually a daily ritual as long as the cats leave em alone.. Kinda nice to come home to sights like these.
These birds are safe... and I think they know it.

Just got done looking at the Nevada Dept. of Wildlife website and it looks like just a bit over $300. A little cheaper than Idaho but you have to be drawn for your tags. Hmm.... wonder what the odds of getting a tag are

Very low. 2 to 3 years to get one for resident and go figure for nonres. Most years one or more of my coworkers get a buck of at least 26 inches. This year is looking rather grim as we move into the last week of the season bucks have been scarce due in part to the long standing draught. Kinda like salmon and stealhead....its the Ocean conditions. Have seen some 32" bucks but... he had it in overdrive and was changing zip codes.

I have not harvested a big deer here more for lack of interest than anything.. spend more time fishing.. Them Ruby's are a tough hunt....The marsh is some fine fishin for tasmanian rainbows and b***. Biggest deer I ever saw was here a few years ago. 5x5 bout 32" wide and good mass. Wish I had had my camera with me that day.
