hmm... I couldn't meet you half way (being a teen without a car sucks!) but I do live right off of 101 in Port Angeles, so if you're planning on going to the west end anytime relatively soon (stupid 'coon shoulda planned his death 3 or 4 months ago- lol) I could take him off of your hands at that point in time. I'd even give you some flies as a token of appreciation!

Nice going AuntyM!
A friend of mine once told me this story about Racoons. I heard it in a bar so it must be true!
He claimed that one night while sitting around a campfire making smores a group of Racoons approached him. He gave one a marshmallow, and the party was on. They each, in turn would come up to him and get a marshmallow. This went on until he got tired of playing this game, so when they would come up to him, he started whacking them on the head with a wooden spoon. He then would give them the marshmallow. It got to the point that they would walk up, cringe, take the blow and then be given there reward.
Just remember that this must be true as you have now read it on the Internet!

Ben, I've been seeing dead coons laying all over the roads lately. Next fresh one I see that isn't to beat up I will make Matt throw in the back of the truck.

Aunty I worked with a guy from Tennessee that said coon's were real tasty. He said they always had one stuffed for Thanksgiving right next to the turkey. He did say they were a little greasy though.
