This is the widest Gls river I spey fly fish now on a regular basis. The water flow was down in this picture since the large dam a 100 yards behind me in the picture had slowed the water release.

How wide do you think it is in feet ? I am standing 15-20 yards into the river when I took this picture. Thats another spey fisher in the picture. I think anything over an 8/9 weight spey rod is overkill on this size river.
