Well, yesterday I picked myself up a NIB Ruger 10/22 and boy do I have some plans for this....I had some major trigger work done to this. Replaced dang near everything on the end side of her. Even replaced the firing pin with a new titanium firing pin. What I really like about the trigger job is the auto bolt release, don't have to push in that stinkin little button now to release the bolt. The extended magazine release is really nice also, fits my finger nicely and makes for quick magazine release. Theirs already a really nice trigger pull to it but I was thinking of lowering it to be around 2 pounds of pull? I'm getting a custom built gray thumbhole Laminated Wood Stock made for it. Also when I end up with the money I'm gonna be getting a Volquartsen Stainless Steel Snake fluted bold barrel. Right now I have a 22 inch stainless steel barrel for it. As it sits right now its a tack driver, put 3 shots in dang near the same hole at 50 yards!
Well, I have the stock all takin care of, the trigger and all the guts all replaced, thinking I already figured out what barrel I want too...Now I just need to figure out what kinda target scope I'm gonna get for it?
