Ruger 10/22 hi cap mag tip
      #91470 - 12/18/03 08:50 PM

Found this today while searching the web...I just got done with fixing up a few of my old hi cap mags that the lips where all wore down....

You start with one BC 10 rd mag. You start by stripping your 10 rd mag, seperate the halves of your BC-30 or other high cap mag. Next you cut the area needed to install the metal feed lips from the steel lip BC 10 rd mag. Glue back the high cap and your ready to go.

Also....BC AKA Butler Creek

I have 8 of the Butler Creek high cap mags and around half of them are just worn out. I will give this a try, thanks.

I noticed some new mags and maybe some parts on the sportsmans guide site the other day. They are really proud of the new ones though, the price is astronomical.

Thanks for the tip on repairing those, not sure why they didn't use steel in the first place, other than making more money by selling more.
