Pearl white head. Nightmare color, definately a good standby! Then I mix things up a little with flo red body, black and white tail, flo pink body, and black and white tail, or orange and white tail. Shell pink body with white tail, orange tail, or light pink tail. Basically I think if you think it will catch fish it probably will.

THose are all good colors too, thanks. I really like the nightmare, but my go to color has really been white for winter runs, on every year, well it was last year, but nightmare always works, I still have other favs though. As far as the pic of the nightmare jig, THe 3rd row down and 3rd jig is actually tied with something my wife found at a craft store for me, the body material has very heavy wire in it and makes it even heavier, but still appears to be 1/16 oz, ahhh tricky. The true color of the nightmare is second row down and fifth over from left, that flo red color on the body, is a little different if you notice, also makes a difference, on that first cast in the morning in low light, then change to a little darker like the one below it, when light hits good. Ill be hitting the river tomorrow morning with these jigs and will let you know what fish I caught on what colors and sizes and times of day.

Hey FJ, I had to have AuntyM help me with the pic, very nice and helpful person.

I like to use purples and pinks. My favorite material by far has to be rabbit hair though as it keeps it's shape in the water and gives a little more light reflection. I have found some crosscut rabbit strips that are pink with purple dyed tips that works great. I also like to add some Krystal Flash or Flashbou. Basically I tie a bunny leech patten (as in fly fishing).
