Cedar Lake, approx. 10 acres It is located NW of Samish lake.
Take the North Lake Samish exit from I-5. Turn right onto North Lake Samish drive. Turn left on Old Samish Road. Follow approx. 2.5 miles to trailhead parking area on left. There are Whatcom County park signs. The trailhead is managed by the county the lakes are WDFW owned.
Facilities at the trailhead are pit toilet, reader boards and ample parking.
The trail to the lakes is 2.5 miles. that is well marked and wide. Horses maybe encountered. The trail is switched backed and somewhat steep at times.
Camping is allowed at both lakes but fires are not allowed.
There are trout in both lakes. (Cedar and Pine lake)
