headed out to clallam county today and found alot of fossils. Some are really good quality and have great detail. Dont know yet if anything I found is rare or not. Alot of clam fossils, probably 5 different kinds. Two clams were crystalized with Calcite. Found 4 whole snail fossils and three crab claws so far. I also collected around 100 calcivised concretions most of which I have not broke open yet, they can contain anything from clams,crabs snails and hopefully a nautiloid or two.I was surprised by the crab fossils I hadnt heard you could fing these the from anybody. Here a few pics, I will post more as I get the specimens unwrapped.
