Well the trip was great but the fishing was not. First day (hali day) the ocean was rough so we couldn't go out to the big bank and the boat (14 people) was . Second day we started the day by catching bottom fish (sea bass, rock cod) and got our limits on them, caught some lings but were all to small. Moved places and started jigging for salmon my dad hooks in to somthing big. Hali that he fights for about an hour! While he is fighting it I hooked a salmon and I get him to the surface and before the deck hand gets there with the net (he was on the other end of the boat dealing with dads hali) fish gone!! One of the other guys on the boat caught a 15+/- salmon and one of the others a 25ish hali. and that was all for two days of fishing for 14 people. Dads hali ended up being the biggest hali of the day for the resort, 48lb. it was a good trip but the fishing could have been better!!! Beautiful up there though and the flight in was really cool. The only disappointing thing was walking the docks after the smaller charters come in and seeing all the fish they brought in off the big bank!! LIL
