Spent fathers day with my dad, a friend, and my cousin on Lake Roosevelt at Gifford Landing. We were there sun, mon, tues, and came home wed. the fishing was a little slow but we did get a few and had a pretty good day on tues. Sunday evening we boated four fish (two walleye, a smallmouth, and a piggy perch). Monday it was fairly windy and we fished in a couple large coves to stay out of the heavy wind, and the fishing was not as productive, but we did get a few walleye and another perch. Tues started out a little slow but we finally located some fish and they started to coperate we ended up with 16 walleye and a nice smallie for the day. All the fish were caught on bottom walkers with walleye spinners trolled at a half to 1 mph. The lake is beautiful up there and we watched two different sets of bald egales with babys in there nests. We also saw lots of Deer and a couple yoties. Here are a few pics from the weekend.
