Since CQ is over, I need some basic help on trolling for Silvers.

Generally speaking:
Do I need to use my downriggers?
If so, am I staying in the top 50 feet?
How far back from the downrigger?
What's the correct leader length for Hootchies and Ace Hi Flies?
Dodger, flasher, fishflash, big kelp cutter?
How fast should I be going?

So now I find a nice current seam/rip area in some deep water. I do know that Silvers like these edges. Do I troll into the wind, with the wind, against the current, with the current?

Where is my corkie/yarn when I need them?
