This summer I heard about a lake that people use to jump bikes into becuase of it's depth. Word had it that there was some huge fish in there. Being a curious fishermen, I decided to check it out. Walked the 1/2 mile in and casted a worm on a big octopus hook. I brought my dog with me and decided to sit with him. As soon I sat down, my pole was dragged in water. I quickly retreaved it and set the hook to feel a massive force of power on the other end of my line. What a fight. 15 minutes of reeling in my line time after time, I finally got a glimps of the biggest carp I had ever caught. 34 inches and around 15 pounds.
