Graphite type is never as important as the knowledge to use it right. It doesn't make a rod more sensitive, hardy, light, etc. if the right mix of materials in it's construction isn't used. Also there is no law or regulation that makes a rod company disclose what the rod is really made of, they can say just about anything if they add a few slivers of a material in the blank someplace. They can just say later it's a IM whatever composite and it's all legal.
Go with the blanks and rods you here everyone here using, especially the custom builders as they can have anything they want, so if they are fishing something it's for a reason.
