Deprivation Hunt in or around Orofino?

I heard a rumor that the Idaho Fish & Game is trying to put together a short range (bow or shotgun) hunt in the Orofino area to thin the deer population. Anyone else hear this or know anything about it? Could be just B.S. too considering the source.
